SCHOOL CONSULTATION
School consulting role:
With extensive experience working in independent school settings across all divisions, I offer a unique and comprehensive perspective on school culture, child development, and community dynamics. My background includes the development and implementation of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Health & Wellness curricula across grade levels, ensuring that programming is age-appropriate, inclusive, and deeply rooted in CASEL literacy.
I specialize in:
Curriculum Analysis: Supporting SEL and Health & Wellness programming that integrates into the fabric of school life, reinforcing key emotional and social skills in developmentally appropriate ways.
Group Facilitation: Running targeted group work with students to enhance social skills, peer relationships, and self-awareness, using evidence-based practices. Provided Health and Wellness lessons for classroom use on topics surrounding comprehensive sex education, substance abuse prevention, and mental health wellbeing.
Administrators and Faculty: Working with educators and administrators to explore how their own experiences, beliefs, and internal dynamics may surface in their work with students and families. I help cultivate greater self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and compassion among school staff.
Whether supporting the emotional climate of a classroom, facilitating sensitive conversations, or co-creating responsive systems with school leadership, my goal is to strengthen school communities fostering environments where students, faculty, and families can thrive.
