ADOLESCENT THERAPY
Adolescence is a time of incredible growth, filled with both challenges and opportunities. Teenagers are navigating questions of identity, exploring interests, and beginning to forge their own paths. Yet alongside this growth, many also feel isolated—grappling with racing thoughts, social pressures amplified by social media, and the difficulty of balancing outside expectations with their own inner strengths.
I specialize in supporting adolescents through these challenges, with expertise in working with neurodivergence, LGBTQ+, identity exploration, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and ADHD. In therapy, I provide a safe space where teens can slow down, build self-awareness, and learn healthier ways to manage emotions, relationships, and self-expectations. Drawing from Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), IFS, DBT, and Mindfulness, I help them develop confidence, resilience, and independence while staying connected to their authentic selves. Sandy, my therapy dog, offers gentle support throughout the process reminding teens they don’t have to navigate this journey alone.
